Day 1: Arrival in Kampala

Morning: Arrive at Entebbe International Airport. Our representative will pick you up and transfer you to your hotel in Kampala.
Afternoon: Explore Kampala city, visit local markets, or relax at your hotel.
Evening: Overnight stay in Kampala, preparing for the adventure.

Day 2: Transfer to Rwenzori Mountains National Park

Morning: Early breakfast and drive to Rwenzori Mountains National Park (approximately 7 hours).
Afternoon: Arrive and check in at your lodge near the park.
Evening: Dinner and briefing about the next day’s trek.

Day 3: Trek to Nyabitaba Hut

Morning: Begin your hike from the park headquarters (1,646 meters). Trek through bamboo forests and cross rivers.
Afternoon: Reach Nyabitaba Hut (2,652 meters). Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: Trek to John Matte Hut

Morning: Continue trekking through the forests and moorlands. Cross the Bujuku River and enjoy views of the Portal Peaks.
Afternoon: Reach John Matte Hut (3,414 meters). Relax and enjoy the scenery.
Evening: Overnight stay at the hut.

Day 5: Trek to Bujuku Hut

Morning: Trek through the lower Bigo Bog and cross a wooden boardwalk. Ascend to the Bujuku Hut (3,962 meters).
Afternoon: Enjoy the views of Mount Speke, Mount Stanley, and Mount Baker.
Evening: Rest at Bujuku Hut.

Day 6: Ascend to Elena Hut

Morning: Start the steep ascent to Elena Hut (4,541 meters), passing through rocky landscapes and glaciers.
Afternoon: Arrive at the hut, close to Mount Stanley’s peaks.
Evening: Rest and prepare for the next day’s summit attempt.

Day 7: Summit Margherita Peak (5,109 meters) and Descend

Morning: Early rise for the final ascent to Margherita Peak, the highest point of the Rwenzori Mountains.
Late Morning: Enjoy the breathtaking views from the summit and capture unforgettable memories.
Afternoon: Begin the descent back to Kitandara Hut (4,023 meters) for the night.

Day 8: Descend to Nyakalengija and Return to Kampala

Morning: Continue the descent to Nyakalengija. Celebrate your successful trek.
Afternoon: Transfer back to Kampala.
Evening: Optional overnight stay in Kampala or transfer to Entebbe for your departure.
