Terms and Conditions
Welcome to Owemba Safaris. By booking or participating in a safari or related service with us, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before confirming your booking.

Bookings and Reservations
- All bookings must be confirmed in writing via email or through our official website.
- A deposit of 30% of the total price is required to confirm a booking. The remaining balance must be paid at least 30 days before the start of the safari.
- If a booking is made within 30 days of the safari start date, full payment is required at the time of booking.

Cancellations and Refunds
- All cancellations must be submitted in writing.
- Cancellations made 60 days or more before the safari start date are eligible for a 70% refund of the deposit.
- Cancellations made 30–59 days before the safari start date will incur a 50% penalty of the deposit.
- Cancellations made less than 30 days before the safari start date are non-refundable.
- In the event of force majeure (including, but not limited to, war, natural disasters, or pandemics), Owemba Safaris reserves the right to offer alternative dates or services, subject to availability.

Travel Insurance
All clients are required to have comprehensive travel insurance that covers personal accidents, medical expenses, evacuation, and cancellation.

Passports, Visas, and Health
- Clients are responsible for ensuring they have valid passports, necessary visas, and required vaccinations for Uganda.
- Owemba Safaris is not responsible for any costs or losses resulting from failure to obtain necessary documents or health precautions.

Liability
- Owemba Safaris takes all reasonable precautions to ensure the safety and enjoyment of our clients.
- We are not liable for personal injury, loss, damage, delays, cancellations, or itinerary changes due to events beyond our control (e.g., flight delays, weather conditions, strikes).

Changes to the Itinerary
Owemba Safaris reserves the right to make reasonable changes to the itinerary when necessary due to unforeseen circumstances. Clients will be informed of significant changes as soon as possible.

Complaints
- Complaints should be raised with the tour guide or a company representative immediately during the safari to allow for on-site resolution.
- Unresolved complaints should be submitted in writing within 30 days after the end of the safari.

Use of Photos and Videos
Owemba Safaris may use photos and videos taken during the safari for promotional purposes. Clients who do not wish to appear in such materials must notify us in writing before the safari begins.

Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Uganda. Any disputes arising from these terms will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Uganda.

Amendments
Owemba Safaris reserves the right to update or modify these terms and conditions at any time. Clients will be informed of any significant changes before their safari.
By making a booking with Owemba Safaris, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions.
